From Vietnam to Iraq, Why USA Is The Most Hated Country In The World.

War is the most profitable business for the military industrial complex of any nation of country. From March 2003 to March 2013 over 5,000,000 people killed in Iraq after the US invasion on the bases of false intelligence reports by Dick Chaney, former vice-president of USA and Tony Blair, former prime minster of England. Most of the people killed in Iraq war were noncombat civilians killed in drone attacks, terrorists attacks by Islamic militants and US Army.

One of the most renowned news website ranked the United States as one of the most hated countries in the world.

The United States of America is the most hated country in the world and there is good reason behind this impression. Its constant interference in other countries foreign policies is the most common reason for being hated. The general impression about America is that, it supports those countries which plan their foreign policies according to its wishes and punishes those who don’t. Its support for corrupt leaders and ruthless dictators also generates hates on a national level.

After World War II United States went into a cold war with U.S.S.R and began to interfere with the foreign policy of those countries which it thought could join the communist alliance.

Vietnam war is one such example where US involvement was solely on the basis of preventing South Vietnam from a communist takeover.

But the Vietnamese people and the Viet Cong considered this as a fight against imperialism and colonialism.

Vietnam War Started by Americans

Apart from heavily bombarding the entire country the US forces on ground committed horrible atrocities with the Vietnamese. More than 150 US soldiers testified and described the war crimes according to John Kerry.

The current secretary of state John Kerry was also a Vietnam veteran and in his testimony before the US senate in 1971 he said,

“They told the stories of times that they had personally raped, cut off the ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country.”

After Vietnam the second major military operation conducted by United States was in Iraq, it was called “Operation Desert Storm”. Saddam Hussain who was once a US ally attacked Kuwait, as a result US attacked Iraq along with dozens of allied countries.

The war was short lived as Iraqi army was destroyed in a few days, but the real atrocities happened after the war in the shape of sanctions through United Nations Security Council. Even food and medicine was strictly regulated, as a result an estimated of 570,000 children died due to the sanctions.

Then came 9/11, the worst terrorist attack on US soil, however this tragedy gave US an excuse to invade Afghanistan, a war which is still going on. According to reports more than 29,000 people have died.

9-11-attack

In 2003 US expanded its war on terror to Iraq, a decision that has resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths and the rise of extremism. The fact that Iraqi invasion was based on false intelligence reports by Dick Chaney and Tony Blair is a crime in itself.

All these wars and interference with the foreign policies of other countries have made United States of America the most hated country in the world.
